today i learned three things:
1. even a san leandro, california walmart can receive a bomb threat during the middle of the day

2. cognac is not brandy. trader joe's apparently doesn't carry brandy

3. sometimes you have to take a chance. even if it may not seem like the right moment. and it feels shitty to let that chance pass by. so when you make quick gesture to correct it and just can't make it happen, oh boy, is that an extra kick in the gut. but well worth the chance. so be it
